This position is for someone that can think and work under pressure, that can multitask and manage their time effectively. You must be able to forward plan and communicate well with others.
Most of the time you will be managing the site and sub-contractors, and so you will need good administration skills to be able to order materials and have the relevant Health & Safety paperwork ready before work is to start. At other times you could be hands-on, if the situation demands it - so a flexible approach is essential.
As a Contracts/Site Manager you must be confident in running multiple jobs in multiple locations so good time management is essential. We are a small team and rely on everybody doing whatever they can to deliver the goods for our customers.
Quality of work is top of our priority list: We operate a right-first-time policy, so your eye for detail will be critical in helping us meet this goal.
This hybrid role would suit someone looking to move from site manager to full time contracts manager as we grow, with the potential to move into new business development in the future. You will need to have a robust personality, capable of working through problems and finding solutions to all sorts of day-to-day challenges.
